New Selmer-Paris Website Is Now Live On The Internet
Conn-Selmer is pleased to announce that a new website for Selmer-Paris saxophones, www.henriselmerparis.com, went live on the internet this month. The new website will be the clearing house for all information regarding the complete line of Selmer-Paris saxophones. The site also includes links to other valuable resources such as an artist list, Selmer-Paris Players Forums on Facebook and MySpace, and exclusive performance resources especially for saxophone players and teachers. As the website continues to develop, more information about the complete line will be added.
“The new website represents a major step forward for Selmer Paris saxophones in North America” said Craig Denny, director of marketing, saxophones.” People now have the opportunity to view all available finishes and models, find their favorite artist, and view video clips from them. We will be adding content to the site on a weekly basis, so check back often!”
Among the models highlighted on the website are the Series II Saxophones. The Series II saxophones have been the professional choice for a generation and continue to be the most popular professional saxophone in the world. The reasons are very clear; they all possess a flexible but centered tone that is natural in almost any playing situation. Yellow brass body tubes and keys resonate across the entire timbre spectrum: full-ribbed construction enhances their durability. The Series’ superior intonation characteristics make these saxophones a natural choice for any professional or those who aspire to be.
Also included on the website are the Series III saxophones. Lightning-quick response and flawless ergonomics make these saxophones move, allowing you to perform at the speeds you need in these hyper-fast times. Instead of traditional brass, these saxophones are built on a platform with a slightly higher copper content-creating a rich warm tone that is automatic from the first breath into the instrument.
Finally, the Reference series of saxophones are truly built in the spirit of the Mark VI and Balanced Action saxophones of decades past. Constructed in the same brass alloy as the Series III, they are quick responding with a full sound. They combine the quick response of the Series III with the resonant properties of the best Series II saxophones. The key ergonomics are also greatly improved over generations past.
