Adjusting Pegging Cleaning

Shop adjustment is the skilled process of shaping and fitting the fingerboard, bridge and sound post to the instrument body. Shop adjustment assures compliance to Music Educators National Conference (MENC) specifications and maximizes individual instrument playability.

Pegging is the process of cutting, shaping and fitting string tension pegs to the instrument. Pegging allows each instrument to be easily tuned and stay in tune as long as possible.
Cleaning is the final preparation and assembly of the instrument. It is at the cleaning step where all the components are fitted and assembled.

There are 10 steps to the cleaning process.
